| How long have you been turned on by Rubber Wellington Boots ? | Since I was a kid. |
| When were you first turned on by Rubber Wellington Boots ? | When I was a
kid I liked watching other boys wearing rubber boots. We all
wore them when we were out in the paddocks, on our bikes, on our
motorbikes, etc. They looked great & I liked how they smelled
inside. |
| How many pairs
of Rubber Wellington Boots do you own ? |
Twelve pairs,
including Bata, OnGuard, Servus, & others (British, Australian,
& American). I even have a pair of youth-sized green
Wellipets frog wellies that I got on eBay/UK that I can
just squeeze into, although it's a suction-battle getting them off
again! |
| Which is your favourite pair ? | My black steel-toe yellow-soled "Bata Industrials", US size 10. They're worn by construction workers & demolition crews, & they're great boots. I like how they look on, plus how they feel snug. They fit pretty firmly, so there's not a lot of "slop" when walking |
| How often do you wear Rubber Wellington Boots ? | Every
day. I like wearing a pair of OnGuard non-steel-toe rubber boots
US size 10 around the apartment. I wear them without socks,
& they've developed a great smell in them that's
something similar to "wet dog", not exactly but close to
it. After I've been wearing them a few hours they have an
ammonia-like smell at first when I pull my feet out, but that fades
quickly leaving the excellent & almost overpowering smell like "wet
dog" which I really like. I've always liked the "blue
cheese"/"rancid butter" type stink of sweaty feet & socks, & I
get that smell nice & strong in some of the other kinds of wellies
I wear, specially in summertime. |
| How often do you go out in public wearing them ? | All the time
on weekends; on weekday mornings/evenings when I'm out
walking the dog. |
| Do you wear them in town as well as in the country ? |
I
really like wearing rubber boots out in public, & I
specially like being seen in them while I'm eating salt-n-vinegar
potato chips. I have fond memories of hanging-out with my mates
as a kid, all of us wearing rubber boots, jeans, &
T-shirts, & us eating salt-n-vinegars. |
| Do you wear them only when the weather is suitable or at other times e.g. when it is sunny ? | I like
wearing rubber boots out in public in all weather conditions, specially
when it's a hot dry summer day & people look at me
curiously/strangely. I like being all hot & sweaty in my
rubber boots, with my feet stinking real sweaty & ripe. I
like it when other people catch a whiff of my
footsmell/socksmell/bootsmell, like when I'm standing in a
queue at McDonald's. I like the
embarrassment/humiliation/degradation thing about being seen in rubber
boots out in public, being seen as a "blue collar" boy that
people would naturally think's sentenced to spend
much his life in smelly/dirty/greasy/muddy rubber boots. |
| Are you turned on when you are putting your Rubber Wellington Boots on or when you are wearing nothing else ? | I'm turned on
by rubber boots whenever I see them, touch them, smell them, put my
feet in them, pull them on, etc. I like wearing just my OnGuard
non-steel-toe rubber boots around the apartment with nothing else
on, or maybe just a Tshirt/sweatshirt. I specially like smelling
them. |
| Have you a preference for the clothes you wear with your Wellington Boots (eg shorts, jeans, rainwear) ? |
I generally wear jeans or tracksuit pants with my rubber
boots, but my favorite is to
wear overalls/actionbacks/coveralls/boilersuit with a pair of
rubber boots. I also like wearing yellow PVC waterproof rain
trousers, either tucked into my rubber boots or allowed to come down
the outside of them. |
| Do you get a "kick" from seeing other people wearing rubber Wellington Boots? | I totally
like seeing other guys wearing rubber boots. It'd be great to
find a rubber boot buddy to hang out with in public & in private,
both of us wearing knee-high rubber boots. |
| Do you belong to any clubs or Organisations especially to be able to wear your Wellington Boots where they do not look out of place | I've worn
rubber boots working as a gas station attendant, when fishing, &
when out walking the dog, but other than those situations I've
never 'justified'/'camouflaged' my wearing of rubber boots in
public; I just do it. |
| Have you had any contact with any other wearers of Rubber Wellington Boots ? | I haven't
ever met anyone like me that's so totally turned on by
knee-high rubber boots, chore boots, farmboy boots, etc. I
grew up in the UK & in Australia, so I wore rubber boots a lot as a
kid. In the UK I was made to wear them because of
the rain/puddles/mud/etc, & in Australia I was made to wear them
all year round because they're good & cheap protection for
kids against snake-bite. |
| Any further information | I've lived
& worked in the UK, Australia, & now the US, so I've seen how
rubber boots fit into three societies, & I've had the chance to buy
some excellent rubber boots 'off-the-shelf' in all three
countries. I don't have any photos of me wearing rubber
boots, but I definitely plan on getting some taken asap now that I know
I'm not alone in having been fixated on rubber boots all my life. |
