| How long have you been turned on by Rubber Wellington Boots ? | Over
22 years. |
| When were you first turned on by Rubber Wellington Boots ? | Since I was a small child. Probably around
5 or 6 is when I first noticed it. |

pairs of wellies, 10 pairs of waders, 1 pair of chest waders. |
| Which is your favourite pair ? | Probably
my trusty LaCrosse black wellies with the yellow trim on top. This is
until I get a pair of Bulleyes of course! |
| How often do you wear Rubber Wellington Boots ? | Not
nearly enough. Maybe once a week. |
| How often do you go out in public wearing them ? | I
really don't ever. However, as I get older the braver I seem to get and
the more my hang ups seem to disappear. |
| Do you wear them in town as well as in the country ? | I
probably only did this once or twice. I'll wear them around the house
when washing my car and such. We live on a busy street so a lot of
people see me wearing them, but I still don't wear them to the grocery
store, etc. I'm working up to that though. I plan to get a pair of
Hunter wellies and to start wearing those around town. I think they
might help me ease into wearing rubber boots in public. |
| Do you wear them only when the weather is suitable or at other times e.g. when it is sunny ? | I
definitely only wear them when appropriate, especially here in hot
sunny California. Being a 20 something doesn't help either. I'm
constantly judged and picked apart by friends and coworkers. It was an
hour long conversation last week when I brought my heavy black vintage
rubber coat to work. However, I do receive a lot of positive comments
when I occasionally wear rubber in public. |
| Are you turned on when you are putting your Rubber Wellington Boots on or when you are wearing nothing else ? | Always |
| Have you a preference for the clothes you wear with your Wellington Boots (eg shorts, jeans, rainwear) ? | My
preference is wearing cotton twill work pants with rubber boots. I like
the whole blue collar uniform thing. I also love rubber rainwear.
Really completes the look. |
| Do you get a "kick" from seeing other people wearing rubber Wellington Boots? | It's
a huge turn on. I sometimes drive by the industrial areas in town to
catch a glimpse of men wearing rubber boots. |
| Do you belong to any clubs or Organisations especially to be able to wear your Wellington Boots where they do not look out of place | Unfortunately
I don't. However I used to have a job in a fruit processing plant where
I wore rubber boots for my entire shift. You would have had very wet
feet if you wore regular shoes. It was a very messy job. |
| Have you had any contact with any other wearers of Rubber Wellington Boots ? | I've
had a lot, but none are in my area which is a shame. |
| Any further information | I am a big
rubber and PVC rain wear lover. I try to wear my gear as much as my
rubber boots. Look forward to hearing from any other rubber boot
enthusiasts. Hopefully some that are close to me! |
